  • (die Ferien verbringt sie bei Ihrem Taufpaten dem Bibliothekar und Schriftsteller Andre Blavier bei dem sich u.a. bekannte Künstler wie Rene Margritte und Raymond Queneau teffen und erfähr dort erste Auseinandersetzungen mit avantgardistischer Kunst.)
  • Praktikum im Nervenkrankenhaus Reisensburg (erhält dabei tiefe Eindrücke in die menschliche Psyche)
  • Studium der Germanistik und Philosophie, FU Berlin

Ausstellungen und Ankäufe In- und Ausland

Die oft klassisch anmutenden, figürlichen Arbeiten von Petra A. Wende sind von intensiver psychischer Ausstrahlung und erzählerischem Moment.

Charakteristisch für die Künstlerin sind aufgebrochene Oberflächen strukturiert mit archaischen /modernen Elementen. Auffällig ist die feine, fast zärtliche Darstellungsweise.

Experimentelles wie klassisches arbeiten. Interpretation von literarischen Werken. Ausloten von Grenzen. Verweigerung der Kategorisierung.
